High alert is issued for Sikkim, Bhutan, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nepal, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Kullu Manali, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi due to potential floods and landslides. South India's climate, particularly in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Maharashtra, and parts of Gujarat and Chhattisgarh, will also be affected from August 12 to 18 and again from August 22 to 28.
